Split a PDF into several files
Mark where each group of pages ends.
At a glance
Split PDF separates a document into groups. Set the cuts between pages and review the arrangement before running it.
Before you start
Decide which pages each output file should contain.
Open the document
Select the PDF in Split PDF and wait for its thumbnails.
Mark the cuts
Click the scissors between pages to set the splits. Review the groups and the number of PDFs shown by the main action.
Download the groups
Run the split and review each downloaded file. Check the first and last page of every group.
If something does not go as expected
If the action is unavailable, check that you have marked at least one cut. To save only certain pages, Extract pages may be more direct.
Before you finish
Each file starts and ends on the intended pages.
